The Starburst System

The Starburst System is Rachel’s newest project. She is now a published lyracist with her songs she creates using online music production software.

Rachel’s childhood dream was always to be a pop star. Music has been a healing outlet for her since she was a very young girl. Rachel says “I’ve been writing songs since I could speak words”. Taking after her father who was a locally known musician himself, Rachel picked up her first guitar when she was 7 years old. She played flute in middle school band and sang in the choir in highschool. Rachel was also a member of guitar club and voted alongside one of classmates “most likely to become a famous musician”.

Rachel says online music production tools have given her the ability to give her lyrics a voice and bring her songs to life on her own. However, she desires to one day align with a producer who can provide her the space to embrace her passion fully.

-Why Call the Project The Starburst System?

*When a Star Bursts it is called a Super Nova* A supernova (/ˌsuːpərˈnoʊvə/ plural: supernovae /ˌsuːpərˈnoʊviː/ or supernovas, abbreviations: SN and SNe) is a powerful and luminous stellar explosion.

This transient astronomical event occurs during the last evolutionary stages of a massive star or when a white dwarf is triggered into runaway nuclear fusion.

A supernova is a massive explosion of a dying star. The event occurs during the last evolutionary stages of a massive star, which is dying. The explosions are extremely bright and powerful.

The star, after explosion, turns into a neutron star or a black hole, or is completely destroyed. A supernova is the biggest explosion that humans have ever seen. Each blast is the extremely bright, super-powerful explosion of a star.

Basically, It had a choice.

A black hole is essentially darkness and nothing a massive void. Neutron stars are created when giant stars die in supernovas and their cores collapse, with the protons and electrons essentially melting into each other to form neutrons.

A neutron Star is the blended condensed parts of the giant star. All the parts melded inside the one.

Rachel says “Out of the two options, I choose to be the star that bursts. The one that explodes and then returns to wholeness” hence the name The Starburst System.

-What is the signficance of this visual of bursting and returning to wholeness?

Returning to wholeness is a huge part of Rachels personal healing journey that became a significant part of the work she does in her signiture self help program How to Wear a Crown. It discusses the idea of “All of me, loves all of you” which is Chapter 11 of her book How to Wear a Crown and coincides with Session 11 from the How to Wear a Crown program.

Rachel became infatuated with idea of returning to wholenss as a healing methodology on both a spiritual and psychology level-personally and professionally. She disovered the idea on a metapysical level discussed by spiritual leaders as the concept of “soul retrieval”. She later became even more obsessed with the healing modality when she realized it was directly linked to her love of the mental health field but that arena it was just called something different. In the world of psychology it was named Internal Family Systems therapy for healing trauma.

Her infatuation continued as she learned about the healing from a new angle. She utilized the healing from both sides of the coin doing soul retrieval work in the spiritual planes and IFS therapy techniques here in the physical world.

Whichever way you look at it however, the core message is the same, traumatic experiences throughout ones life leaves them feeling…. “broken” and when something is broken it means it has been split or cracked into multiple pieces. For a person, both human and spirit this happens in both a human and spiritual way. The brain can literally fragment into mulitple parts or aspects of self and the consciousness can split off into multiple segments of energy.

To put it simply, putting the pieces back together is essentially what every healing entails. If something is broken, the way you fix it is to put it back together. The great return to wholenss.

Rachel says she prayed for the name of the what to call this project and Starburst was the answer she recieved from spirit. After some intense Googling sessions she realized that God wasn’t talking about the candy….but her beautiful and profound healing process and divine work that she gives back to the world.

It all made sense.

She orignally began the project as a personal healing tool where she gets to use the online music production tools to help her express all the various parts of herself that deserve a voice. Initially, she did not intend to share this with the world but quickly realized that the songs deserved to be in the light and could be enjoyed by others as much as she enjoys them herself.

Rachel says she hopes that this music can help others heal their souls and bring them joy and peace the way her favorite artists music has done for her throughout her life.
